SpeedGRIP rubber compound

The SpeedGRIP Compound is a rubber formulation developed specifically for gravel, taking advantage of Pirelli's experience in world rally competitions. This compound is based on the SmartGRIP, used for mountain bike tires, while optimizing rolling resistance . This formulation is designed to provide good on-road performance while maintaining solid and predictable grip, although it does involve a slight compromise in grip in favor of fuel efficiency.

TechWALL Gravel Envelope

Pirelli has combined reinforced road tire technologies with those of mountain bike tires to create the most advanced casings for gravel. The TechWALL Gravel uses special fabric reinforcements and thicker rubber layers in specific areas to improve resistance to punctures. While on-road punctures are often caused by sharp objects, off-road punctures are mainly caused by sidewall cuts. The TechWALL Gravel’s 60 TPI fabric provides increased protection while providing a smooth and comfortable ride.
